PostSubject: Wisconsin Survuves a Scare   Fri Sep 23, 2011 1:57 am

The Hoosiers visited Wisconsin in week 7 and jumped all over the sluggish Badgers taking a 14-0 lead into the 2nd quarter. The Badgers came out of hibernation long enough to put a score on the board in the form of James White stomping into the endzone for yet another td this season. It was back to sleep for Wisconsin as the offense stubbornly refused to score again in the first half and the defense allowed another touchdown. Indiana led 21-14 at the half. I cannot report here exactly what was said in the Badger lockerroom but a majority of the players came out after halftime with bleeding ears and a determined look in their eye. The Badgers put 24 unanswered points on the board to take a 31-21 lead with 3:45 left in the 4 th quarter. Wisconsin held on for a deceptive 38-35 win as Indiana would add a td as time expired on a prayer that was answered by a sympathetic God. The badgers win but they do not look like contenders.

James White continued his bid for the heisman with 31 carries for 272 yards and 3 touchdowns.
