The Badgers hosted the Boilermakers in what they hoped would be an easy home win after loing 2 straight in conference play. They were able to escape with a win 34-23 in a tough game for the home team badgers. Wisonsin would take the lead for good with 2:30 left in the 4th on a 9 yard pass from QB Russell Wilson to TE Jake Byrne. Wisconsin would add another td before time expired securing the win.
Russell Wilson was 10 of 14 for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Nick Toon had 6 catches fr 101 yards and a td.
james White rushed for 99 yards and a td on 21 carries.
