South Carolina and Florida renewed their rivalry in the Swamp this year, and the Gamecocks came out wit a well deserved W. Florida kept it close for the most part, but in the end couldn't maintain the high paced scoring needed to pull this one out. Marcus Lattimore chipped in with his second straight 234 yard rushing performance, this time topped off with 5 TDs. Florida managed a good outing in large part due to their FR backup QB making a splash. This kid could be trouble in the future.
And if you can call the efforts of the leading contender for the Lombardi and Nagurski Awards quiet, True Freshman Sensation Jadeveon Clowney picked up his NCAA leading 16th sack of the season, while adding his third forced fumble of the year. The future is looking very promising for this young man.
