Wisconsin played Oregon State in a week 2 matchup. the Badgers won easily behind the running of Sophomore taiback James White. White carried the ball 33 times for 156 yards and 4 touchdowns. Other players of note included Senior Tight End Jake Byrne who hauled down 7 catches for 118 yards. Byrne came up big in big situations as he was targeted several times for in 3rd down situations. QB Russell Wilson played well going 14 for 18 for 214 yards. He did throw 2 interceptions though and there will be room for improvement in that area as the season progresses. The defense for Wisconsin was stellar allowing only 57 yards rushing and 125 yards passing while recovering 2 fumbles. All in all a great game for Wisonsin who feels that the score could have been worse but for a couple of mistakes.
Can anyone stop the Wisconsin rushing game?
